It’s time.

I work with WordPress every day. I build and maintain hundreds of blogs and WordPress sites, and you know what’s funny? I don’t keep one myself. I recommend it to everyone who asks (and plenty who don’t), and yet I don’t have one of my own. I’ve had small, single-purpose WordPress sites, but for some reason I’ve avoided maintaining a blog myself.

My end of the year goal is to work up a theme for this blog. Here are my first two attempts:

Always a difficult process for a web developer to design his homepage. I imagine it would be difficult for a heart surgeon to do work for herself as well.
